(The following has been written by Colin's father)
"In Middleton Cheney, on the Oxford/Northamptonshire border near Banbury, there was a big farm there,
which belonged, in 1901, to John Williams, father of Pollie Warland, who was my Grandmother. After I
came out of the air force in about 1948, I went to Oxford and stayed with my Warland grandparents and
one of my uncles and I went to one of the farms, I think at Middleton Cheney. (John Williams must have
been dead by this time, he would have been well over 100, so one of his sons or grandsons must have
inherited the farm.)"
Just Williams:
- John Williams.
- His daughter Pollie Williams married in 1901 to John Herbert Warland b.1870 at Noke. They had
five children, including:
- Evelyn May Warland, who married Arthur Clifford English.
- Their son is John English, who is married to Sheila Ashman.
- Their son is Colin English, who is married to Louise Duerden.
