An English Family History

Mark Mayo, who was born in Combe, Oxfordshire, in 1808. Combe is about two miles west of Woodstock. He married Sarah, a Gloucestershire lass (from Themmerton). Mark was a dairyman for most of his working life. We've found him on the 1881 census, living at Park Street, Woodstock and he was still working as a dairyman then at the age of 73.
As far as we know, Mark and Sarah Mayo had only one daughter, Jane Fanny. (In the 1881 census, there is an Ann Mayo, age 39, from Woodstock, Oxford, who was a servant in a house in Richmond, Surrey. We think she could possibly be the sister of Jane Fanny Mayo. When Jane Fanny Mayo got married, one of the witnesses was an Ann Mayo.)
Jane Fanny Mayo married John Warland in 1867. Amongst their five children was:
John Herbert Warland, born at Noke in Oxfordshire in 1870. He married Pollie Williams in 1901. They had five children, including:
Evelyn May Warland, who married Arthur Clifford English.
Their son is John Arthur English. He is married to Sheila Ashman.
Their son is Colin English, who is married to Louise Duerden.
