Mary Jackson was Louise's 5xGreat Grandmother (that five Greats before the word Grandmother). She married John Stansfield on 11th June, 1778 at Colne parish church. She died at Blacko, a tiny village just to the north of Barrowford, ten years later after bearing five children. It seems that Mary was born in Blacko, and some of their children were born there. After Mary's death, John remarried (to Ann or Hannah Stuttard) and had two more children with his second wife. John was a hand loom weaver.
