This website has been put together for the reference of our family and friends. It's basically a scrapbook containing snippets of information about various deceased members of our family, mainly resident in England (although with our latest update, we've also got stories from ancestors in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA) in the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth centuries. We've gathered the information partly through our own research, but mainly by chatting to older members of the various family lines.

We hope you enjoy what they have to say. We're always on the lookout for more information about the family. We just love our family's history, and we know from comments we've received that others of you do too. If you have any anecdotes, however small, or photos or documents that you would be prepared to copy and share, please do get in touch with us. We are also trying to get photos of our ancestors' homes, or at least their villages and churches where they were baptised. Some of these are already uploaded on this site and we will add others as we get them.
